Mac 1 Seeks to Replace All Incandescent Lights in America With Energy Efficient LED Bulbs

Publicly traded MAC 1 Industries, Inc. (MIRA) (PINKSHEETS: MIRA) located in Florida is forging ahead with its green initiative to change all incandescent lights throughout America, one light bulb at a time. MAC 1's proprietary LED lights are highly efficient, cost effective, energy savers, and harmless to the environment. These amazing little bulbs are projected to produce a long service life of 100,000 hours which is roughly 20 times more longevity than most lighting systems today. The LED lights are highly rugged and contain no filament.

In September of 2008, MAC 1 (MIRA) has completed the installation of LED lights in the Boca Raton, Florida office building of TYCO. The Led lights were replacing all incandescent bulbs that were lighting the building.

MAC 1 (MIRA) has installed LED lights in the lobby of two office towers in New York City owned by Shitrit Holdings.

According to Chief Executive Officer, Sam Abecassis, MAC 1 is currently negotiating contracts for the installation of LED lights with the City of Plano, Texas to retrofit city lighting, and the City of Cincinnati, Ohio to replace the bulbs in the city's traffic lights. There are many other lucrative and highly profitable projects on the table that the company is evaluating.

Various estimates of potential energy savings range from 82% to 93%. By way of an example, it is estimated that replacing incandescent lamps in all of America's approximately 26,000 traffic signals (red, green and yellow) could reduce energy consumption by nearly 2.5 billion kilowatts. The dollar value of such savings is tremendous.
