CECO Environmental Receives Nine New Orders Totaling $8.4 Million

CECO Environmental announced that it has received nine new contracts totaling $8.4 million.  CECO Environmental is a leading provider of industrial ventilation and pollution control systems. Rick Blum, Chief Operating Officer and President, remarked that the orders were received from clients in various industries that include cement, chemical, refining, automotive and power industries. The company has four customers in the United States and its other customers are spread across Australia, Belgium, Korea, Venezuela and Mexico.

Phillip DeZwirek, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of CECO Environmental, remarked that the company is pleased to begin the year 2010 with these fresh orders. The company is also aware of the growing opportunities in the United States from the replacements of systems installed under the Clean Air Act of 1970, which is currently expected to fulfill tighter standards.

DeZwirek further remarked that the company is also observing the rigorous enforcement of Maximum Achievable Control Technology standards for dangerous air pollutants as applied under Title V of the Clean Air Act. The company according to DeZwirek will have a positive experience in the year 2010 and it will also establish firm operating outcomes as a result of the global growing demand, improved economic environment and the increasing opportunities in the United States from the previously mentioned regulations.
