The Bonnaroo Solar Stage system had 2kW solar array enclosed in a 20ft trailer. The trailer had power storage components and a power switch gear. The Solar Stage system was also connected with a 1.2kW portable system trailer transported from Ohio and together they provided a total solar generator capacity of 3.2kW.

The Bonnaroo Music Festival went on for 18 hours per day for three consecutive days utilizing electricity generated by solar energy. It had Bonnie Raitt, Hunab Kru, the Gypsy Hands Belly Dancers, the Bonnaroo Buskers, Jake Leg Stompers, the Dogwood Alliance’s great shows and others on the Solar Stage. No fossil fuel generated power was used on this stage made for the festival. Big Frog Mountain donated this equipment, which was utilized for the “Turning Sunshine into Music”.
