One Block Off the Grid Launches San Francisco Solar Campaign

In a new green initiative to bring clean, affordable renewable energy to the homeowners in San Francisco, One Block Off the Grid (1BOG) in partnership with Luminalt has launched its latest San Francisco solar campaign. One Block Off the Grid, a leading solar group purchase company in the country, will offer group discount rate for installation of solar panels amounting to $5.39 per watt. In addition, the company will also offer San Francisco homeowners impartial solar advice.

Luminalt, a solar installer based in San Francisco, was chosen by 1BOG after careful evaluation of all solar installers in the city as its campaign partner. Luminalt will provide service to the 1BOG solar community in San Francisco. This new campaign coincides with the launch of another program, GreenFinanceSF, which is similar to Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program. Homeowners in the city of San Francisco can finance water conservation improvements, renewable energy, and energy efficiency through property taxes that are paid back. 1BOG will advice community members in the city to understand the process, which will help them to decide whether to utilize the program to finance their solar power systems.

Dave Llorens, CEO of 1BOG, commented that the combination of San Francisco’s new financing program with the company’s support makes it more affordable and easier for the homeowners to adopt solar technology.

Jeanine Cotter, CEO of Luminalt, said the company is committed to provide support to the homeowners in the city of San Francisco to help them become solar leaders. The company is delighted to partner with 1BOG to enable homeowners in San Francisco to go solar, Cotter said.
