Rheem 80/120 Gallon Solar Heat Exchanger Tanks

The Rheem 80/120 gallon solar heat exchanger tank is equipped with a cold water inlet, hot water outlet, brass drain valve, and pressure and temperature relief valves. It is glass lined and rated for 185F and 150 PSI. The solar heat exchanger tank offered by Solar Panels Plus incorporates a 4500W backup heat element. The return fittings and collector feed are positioned at the tank’s front for easy installation. The Rheem 80/120 solar water tank is an isolated tank designed to retain the heat. It has a Rheemglas tank lining to resist corrosion.

The cold water inlet of the Rheem 80/120 gallon solar heat exchanger tank carries cold water to the bottom of the tank to block it from mixing with heated water. The anode rod present in the tank protects the solar heat exchanger tank from aggressive water action. There are also options for automatic temperature control and protection from over temperature.
