This system is suitable in places where the air temperature does not fall below 41 degree Fahrenheit for more than three or four times in a year. WH-1 Solar Water Heating Systems
The components with the WH-1 solar water heating system are solar collectors, solar water storage tank, circulation pump and automatic controller. The Sun Ray solar collectors are made with either copper aluminum or full copper absorbers. The frame and gazing cup of these solar collectors are made of galvanized steel that is resistant to corrosion. The water storage tank of the WH-1 solar hot water system features an anode rod and glass lining to protect the tank from corrosion.
The WH-1 solar thermal system, offered by Sun Ray Solar Products, is equipped with a differential temperature thermostat that acts as the system controller. This controller monitors the collector and automatically turns on and turns off the water circulator, according to the temperature differentials. It turns off the circulator when the heat in the collector is less than 80 degree Fahrenheit. The automatic controller also provides freeze protection.
