NGE-21 Flat Plate Solar Collectors from Next Generation Energy

Next Generation Energy provides the Collector series flat plate solar thermal collectors in aesthetic flat black designs. The NGE-21 flat plate solar collector is suitable for any solar thermal system with a capacity range of 30 to 50,000 gallons of water. The fluid capacity of this collector is 0.70 gallons. This thermal collector features a 6063-T6 type extruded aluminum frame with bronze powder coated finish.

To provide high stability, the inside aluminum angles along with aircraft grade pin grip are riveted. The NGE-21 flat plate solar collector features 3105-H14 stucco embossed aluminum sheet as the backsheet. This aluminum sheet is pop riveted to the aluminum frame. This factory assembled solar collector, offered by Next Generation Energy, is processed with polyisocyanurate foam board insulation. The front of the NGE-21 flat plate solar collector has low iron tempered glass that provides 90 per cent of the solar energy transmission.

The NGE-21 flat plate solar collector includes a Thermafin copper absorber plate that is welded with high frequency forge. This produces a crystalline homogenous connection of fin and rise tube. The thermal collector comprises 5056 aluminum rivets fastening the backsheet. The absorber plate has a Thermafin crystal clear coating. The working pressure of the solar collector is 165 PSI. With the Quick-Lock mounting system, the NGE-21 flat plate solar collector can be installed in different mounting options. It can be mounted on various surfaces such as roofs, fascia boards, ground mount systems, vertical walls or pre-constructed racks.
