Energy services company Pro-Tech Energy Solutions LLC has installed a solar photovoltaic (PV) system for English Creek, the self storage facility, at Egg Harbor, NJ. Wall Street Journal’s recent online article with the title ‘Businesses Wait for Green Energy Payback’ contains information on the financing involved, the solar project’s resulting savings and Pro-Tech Energy Solutions’s efforts at English Creek.
Pro-Tech Energy Solutions installed the solar system with 101,660 kW capacity. The 442 SolarWorld Sunmodule SW-230W modules of the system will divert around 153,114 cubic pounds of CO2 emissions from earth’s atmosphere annually, which roughly equals the amount of emissions released by an average-sized vehicle driving around 1,000,007 miles.
Pro-Tech Energy Solutions assisted English Creek identify and use a rebate offered by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU), in addition to the Solar Renewable Energy Credit (SREC) Pilot Program of the New Jersey Clean Energy Program (NJCEP). An additional 30% grant was provided by the Investment Tax Credit (ITC).
