GreenFix Energy has developed the OASIIS technology, which was invented and patented by GreenFix Energy CTO Richard Henderson. Built on an area spanning 1–3 km2, the system by combining the OTEC technology and solar thermal technology can produce commercial-scale electricity and distilled water.
The electricity produced by the system can replace fossil fuels including coal and may eventually replace nuclear energy. The system also produces large quantities of potable water as byproduct.
Richard was assisted by colleagues and engineers in developing the technology. Richard also sought Brad Listermann, entrepreneur and investment banker, to head the company. Brad has a rich track record of taking ordinary companies and making them public. Brad is currently seeking federal investment to fund the company.
