Kuster Company offers the K10 Surface Readout (SRO) Unit. This SRO unit works with K10 Strain, K10 Geothermal PTS gauges, and K10 Quartz. The surface read out unit is linked to a down-hole tool. By utilizing a single conductor cable the SRO unit provides power to the down-hole tool and receives data from it. The received data is exhibited at the surface and is stacked away in the SRO Unit and/or a PC.
The K10 Surface Readout (SRO) Unit
The K10 SRO Unit provided by the Kuster Company is set in a strong Pelican case. This model can be fully programmed with a computer. The details are displayed on a digital display unit. This model has a 24MB non-volatile memory, 12-volt power supply, and rechargeable batteries.
The K10 SRO Unit has an USB interface to connect to a computer. This SRO unit is designed to have an optional digital encoder to display the depth and line speed.
