Finavera Wind Energy Enters Share Purchase Agreement to Acquire Solar Alliance

Finavera Wind Energy Inc. ('Finavera Wind Energy', 'Finavera' or the 'Company') is pleased to announce it has signed a Share Purchase Agreement (the "Agreement") to acquire 100% of the equity of Solar Alliance of America, Inc. ("Solar Alliance"). Under the terms of the Agreement, Finavera will acquire Solar Alliance for 11,915,238 shares of the Company and contingent payments of up to $4 million USD in cash comprised of up to four instalments of $1 million USD.

Pattern Energy Announces Acquisition of 150MW Amazon Wind Farm from Pattern Development

Pattern Energy Group Inc. ("Pattern Energy"), today announced its acquisition of the 150 megawatt (MW) Amazon Wind Farm (Fowler Ridge) project in Indiana from Pattern Energy Group LP ("Pattern Development"). Upon completion of the project, Pattern Energy will have an owned interest of 116 MW and it is expected that institutional tax equity investors will acquire the balance. Pattern Energy acquired the Amazon Wind Farm (Fowler Ridge) project for a total cash funding commitment of approximately US$127 million, a portion of which will be used to pay down construction debt upon the completion of construction. The acquisition will be funded from available cash and credit facilities.

Trenergi Demonstrates Breakthrough Prototype 1kW Fuel Cell to Investors

Trenergi, a Hopkinton, MA-based fuel cell developer, recently demonstrated its breakthrough 1–kilowatt (kW) fuel cell prototype to a group of investors. The fuel cell, based on a radically different design than existing fuel cells, is capable of efficiently and cleanly generating on-site electricity, heat and hot water from most existing fuels.

ERC Awards €2.26 Million to Bernese Climate Physicist for Research on Polar Ice Cores

Jackson Family Wines Installs Large-Scale Tesla Stationary Energy Storage System

Today Jackson Family Wines (JFW), the family-owned California luxury wine collection best known for its acclaimed Kendall-Jackson winery, announced it has installed one of the first large-scale Tesla stationary energy storage systems across a number of its wineries. Earlier this evening at a private unveiling in Los Angeles, Tesla introduced its energy storage offering. JFW was included in the announcement as one of Tesla’s early strategic collaborators.
