Warming Waters Makes Sardines, Anchovies and Mackerels Migrate North

Sardines, anchovies and mackerels play a crucial role in marine ecosystems, as well as having a high commercial value. However, the warming of waters makes them vanish from their usual seas and migrate north, as confirmed by a pioneering study analysing 57,000 fish censuses from 40 years. The researchers warn that coastal towns dependent on these fishery resources must adapt their economies.

NRG Renew to Implement Multi-Site Distributed Solar Program at 170 Sites for Kaiser Permanente

EDF RS to Provide Operations and Maintenance for 211MW Stephens Ranch Wind Energy Project

EDF Renewable Services (EDF RS), the leading provider of renewable O&M Services in North America, announced today it has entered into a contract with Starwood Energy Group Global, LLC (Starwood Energy), a private equity investment firm based in Greenwich, CT, to provide operations and maintenance for their Stephens Ranch Wind Energy Project (Phase I). The 211 megawatt (MW) project comprised of General Electric (GE) 1.79 MW turbines reached commercial operation in November 2014.
