BlackRock to Acquire Canadian Solar’s 10MW Utility Scale Power Plant in Ontario

Canadian Solar Inc. (the "Company", or "Canadian Solar"), one of the world's largest solar power companies, today announced that its subsidiary, Canadian Solar Solutions Inc., entered into an agreement with a fund managed by BlackRock ("BlackRock"), whereby BlackRock will acquire from Canadian Solar the Westbrook 10MW AC utility-scale solar power plant in Kingston, Ontario at a valuation comparable to other recent project sales completed by Canadian Solar on a per megawatt basis in the Ontario market.

ReneSola to Supply Virtus PV Modules for Three Commercial Projects in UK

ReneSola Ltd. Study Shows Significant Reduction of Environmental Impact in Egg Production Over Past 50 Years

A new study published in Poultry Science shows that while U.S. egg production has increased over the past 50 years, the industry has also been able to significantly decrease its environmental footprint. Researchers conducted a lifecycle analysis of U.S. egg production from 1960 to 2010 to evaluate environmental performance measures for the complete lifecycle from crops to hens to the farm gate.

Reduction in Empty Running of Vehicles Will Help Prevent 426,000 Tonnes of Carbon Emissions
