The machinery required for the plant is arranged by the Chinese partner and the installation is expected to be completed in three months time.

The small sized solar panels with a power producing capability of 50 W will cost around 15,000 Taka while the higher end solar panel with 1500 W will cost around 400,000 Taka. According to the information provided by the company a 300 W panel costing 30,000 Taka will provide enough electricity to run two ceiling fans and four numbers of energy saving lights. The powerful 1500 W panel can provide enough power for the functioning of four ceiling fans and 20 numbers of energy saving bulbs.
