Solar Pie Demonstrates Solar Project Atop PEMCO Roof in Seattle

Solar Pie has demonstrated its project on the roof of PEMCO insurance in Seattle towards producing 8,000 kW of solar energy during its initial year of operations.

Solar Pie is a non-profit company for solar energy and has recently celebrated its PEMCO partnership of one year along with launching solar panel installations on the rooftop of PEMCO headquarters located in Seattle.

During the last one year, the PEMCO solar panels have successfully offset six tons in carbon, an equivalent of avoiding greenhouse gas emissions of the same energy levels. PEMCO’s home-sized solar panels have thus far produced 8,106 kWh of energy approximately.

PEMCO’s street facing temperature and time clock have been constantly reporting these kilowatt hours that is generated by these panels. Apart from enlightening commuters, the PEMCO clock’s Solar Pie information showcases the partnership between the two companies while inspiring others in going solar.
