Silver Bluff Village, a nursing facility located in Canton, NC, and catering to around 195 residents will cut down nearly 10% of its annual hot water generation costs by the installation of a new solar hot water system.
The new solar hot water system for the nursing facility was installed by SolTherm, an Asheville, NC-based company.
SolTherm has designed and installed the hot water system under its registered NoCapEx program that did not require any capital investment from the nursing facility and extended financial guarantee for the performance of the system. The new solar installation will allow the nursing facility to save over $174,000 during the life time of the solar system.
The NoCapEx program specially introduced by SolTherm for the benefit of the educational, government and healthcare clients will provide the solar installation without any investment from the clients while delivering clean power at prefixed rates. SolTherm will own the installation and provide maintenance services during the period of contract.
