Gull Sun Coil Solar Thermal Collector
The Gull Sun Coil solar thermal collector comprises a central hub and spokes that are made of ABS with UV protective coating. The spokes and central hub are the important parts of the collector’s support structure.
The Gull Sun Coil solar collector, supplied by Alten Products, is installed with special additives that provide durability to operate in outdoor conditions. As the Gull Sun Coil solar thermal collector features a 360 degree tubular design, it can capture sunlight from all directions.
The Gull Sun Coil solar thermal collector also features a built-in framework that makes the installation simple. The solar pool heating collector does not need straps, clamps, wood framing or hold down hardware for the installation. This thermal collector measures six and a half feet in diameter.
The fluid capacity of the Gull Sun Coil collector is 11 gallons, with maximum flow rate of 10 gallons per minute. However, the recommended flow rate is 5 gallons per minute. The gross collector area is 44.10 square feet. The dry weight of the collector is 35 pounds, while the wet weight is 127 pounds.
