Gilles HPKI-K with underfeed stoking with a heating range from 120 to 2000kW is suitable for biomass fuels such as woodchips and wood pellets. This boiler has a welded construction with a thermally insulated door. The door at the front can be opened completely to clean the boiler flues. The combustion chamber is lined with replaceable radiant roof. The primary and secondary air blasts in this industrial boiler is regulated by rotational speed. The pull-out ash box in the boiler facilitates easy cleaning of ash. The combustion grate and the grate rods are made of cast alloy, which is resistant to fire.
The compressed air shock technology is followed to clean the interiors of the boiler tube. This cleans the tube thoroughly and removes even a few speckles of ash. This cleaning technology helps to improve the efficiency of the boiler also. Centrifugal force method is used to clean the flue dust formed due to exhaust gas. The compressed air tank is placed adjacent to valves with pressure monitor and safety valve. The user can set the cleaning interval with the help of the automatic valve control.
