Commercial and residential solar installations provider GeoGenix has chosen NJR Home Services (NJRHS) for providing maintenance and installation of renewable energy systems by means of the company’s novel solar leasing program.
The New Jersey Resources Corporation (NJR)’s subsidiary NJRHS is making solar energy more accessible and affordable to homeowners. While solar panels can cost in the thousands of dollars, NJRHS is likely to lease solar panels customers for around $52 per month over a period of 20 years for a system having 6 kW capacity.
GeoGenix’s business development director Pete Ramsey commented that this new leasing program can help customers reduce their electricity costs by around 50%.
GeoGenix seeks customers for this new leasing program who will meet its eligibility criteria. One such eligibility criterion for homeowners is to have a rooftop facing the south so as to absorb the maximum sunlight exposure.
