Ice Sheets Grew on West Antarctic Subcontinent at Start of Greenhouse-Icehouse Transition

The results of research conducted by professors at UC Santa Barbara and colleagues mark the beginning of a new paradigm for our understanding of the history of Earth's great global ice sheets. The research shows that, contrary to the popularly held scientific view, an ice sheet on West Antarctica existed 20 million years earlier than previously thought.

Swinerton Builders Acquires 23MW PV Modules from JinkoSolar

JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. ("JinkoSolar" or the "Company"), a leading global solar PV power product manufacturer, today announced that it will supply 23MW of Solar PV modules to Swinerton Builders, a leading US Engineering and Construction Company and Clçnera, a clean energy finance and management firm. GE Expands Campinas Facility for Wind Turbine Production in Brazil

GE announced the expansion of its Campinas, São Paulo, manufacturing facility and the creation of 35 new skilled jobs. Co-located with Brazilian machinery manufacturer and GE Group subsidiary GEVISA, the facility will produce machine heads, also known as nacelles, for GE 1.7-100 and 1.85-82.5 wind turbines.

New 227 kW Solar Energy System to Power KIPP DC Charter School
