Municipality of Roskilde, Risø, DTU Join Hands to Develop Sustainable Energy Technologies

The Roskilde municipality, and the Risø National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy, DTU have agreed to jointly develop and fortify sustainable energy technology development. The joint development agreement involves the integrated establishment of a sustainable business park and a test and demonstration facility called Demonstratorium.

Solar Power Rooftop Systems Help to Displace Carbon Dioxide Emissions

High efficiency solar cell provider SunPower has completed the installation of 1-megawatt solar power rooftop system at the headquarters of Agilent Technologies at Santa Clara. In continuation of its installation of a 1-megawatt solar tracking system at Agilent’s campus at Santa Rosa, SunPower has now installed solar power roof systems on three buildings at Santa Clara. Agilent Technologies believes that the system will bring down energy expenses by 3.5 million dollars during the first ten years of operation of the solar power rooftop systems.
