Commercial Operation of the 1.8 megawatt (DC) Belle Mead Solar Project was announced by enXco, an EDF Energies Nouvelles Company. The solar system located on the grounds of Carrier Clinic in Belle Mead, New Jersey, is expected to supply 50 percent of the electrical needs of Carrier Clinic under a power purchase agreement for 25 years.

Ampal-American Israel Corporation Acquires 25% Equity Stake in Sugarcane Ethanol Project in Colombia

Ampal-American Israel Corporation has exercised an existing option to convert its existing loan of $22.249 million to acquire a 25% equity stake in a sugarcane ethanol production project that is being developed by Merhav in Colombia. The option exercise agreement was signed between Ampal and Merhav (M.N.F) Ltd. The conversion of the loan and acquisition of the stake is subject to Banco do Brasil’s initial disbursement of a loan. Banco do Brasil is the financer for the project.

Vestas Receives Order for 24 Units of V90-2.0 MW Wind Turbine
