KTK14 Solar Tube Collector from Regulus

Regulus offers the KTK14 Solar Tube Collector. This solar collector is offered with 14 evacuated tubes, and a flat plate copper absorber with an exclusive Tinox coating.

The KTK14 solar tube collector blends the know how of tube and flat plate collectors. The flat plat copper absorber with an exclusive Tinox coating is kept inside a sealed and evacuated tube. This flat plate absorber is ultrasonically welded to a copper tube by which the solar liquid runs.

KTK14 Solar Tube Collector

Vacuum is directly created in a glass tube that is closed at its top end by a flow controlling metal diaphragm plastered into the tubes glass. The vacuum insulation and Tinox coating combination increases the solar absorption properties of the collector. The anti-reflective glass used in the tubes augments the permeability for solar radiation. The tube solar collector transfers the heat to the liquid quickly thus allowing increased high power output on a small surface. The KTK14 Solar tube collector offered by Regulus has a width x length x height dimension of 1030 mm x 2220 mm x 141 mm and weighs 38 kg. The gross collector surface of this module measures 2.11 m² and its aperture surface measures 1.41 m². The connection dimension of this module is 4 x pipe Cu 22.

The KTK14 Solar Tube Collector utilizes a low iron solar glass with antireflection coating for increased heat generation. The volume of the fluid utilized in this module is 2.5 L and the maximum working pressure is 6 bar. For increased efficiency large collector arrays are used with a two pipe header.
