SunPower Corp. and MBG, an authorized partner of SunPower, have announced that MBG has completed installing a high-efficiency SunPower system with 29.7 kW capacity on the rooftop of a historic theater building in FriedrichstadtPalast, Berlin.
MBG has installed E18 Series solar panels of SunPower on the building, which offer around 18% efficiency and also produce around 50% more energy than traditional solar panels.
On the non-roof penetrating SunPower T10 Solar Roof Tile system, the solar panels are mounted and tilted at an angle of 10 degrees in order to enhance energy capture. Owing to the planning and engineering necessities for historic buildings, the T10 Solar Roof Tile system of SunPower can be an ideal solution. The monocrystalline solar panels of SunPower provide the highest possible power generation and the highest offset of CO2.
