Hawaiian Electric Awards Biofuels Contract to Aina Koa Pono

Hawaiian Electric has awarded a biofuels contract to Aina Koa Pono in order to assist Hawaii to produce 70% of its electricity from green energy by 2030. Aina Koa Pono plans to develop a 13,000-acre Energy farm in the Ka u District of Hawaii.

HCL CleanTech, Virent Energy Systems Receive Fund from BIRD-F

The US Department of Energy, the Israel-United States Binational Industrial Research and Development Foundation (BIRD-F) and the Ministry of National Infrastructure of Israel, have granted $900,000 to the US firm, Virent Energy Systems, and the Israel-based biofuel firm, HCL CleanTech.

Polarity Receives Contract to Supply Solar Inverters to Lockheed Martin
