Raser Technologies, an environmental energy technology company, announced that it has signed an agreement with the financing partners of the Thermo No. 1 Geothermal Project to extend the final completion of the plant to June 30, 2010.

Ferrostaal AG and eSolar Collaborate to Provide Turnkey Solar Power Plants

eSolar, a leading concentrating solar thermal power technology company, and Ferrostaal AG, one of the largest developer of power plants in the world, announced a collaboration to install turnkey solar power facilities in many countries including South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and Spain. Under the terms of agreement, receiver technology and solar field will be provided by eSolar and power block will be supplied by Ferrostaal. In addition, Ferrostaal, as a general contractor, will take care of all other activities including financing.

EDP Renewables Announces Power Purchasing Agreement for Pioneer Prairie Wind Farm

Horizon Wind Energy, a subsidiary of EDP Renewables, has entered into a 20-year contract for the sale of wind power with Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), a U.S. government owned corporation. Under the terms of the power purchase agreement, TVA will purchase 115 MW of wind energy generated from EDP Renewables’ fist phase of Pioneer Prairie Wind Farm, located in Iowa.

Solar Development offers a range of ET solar modules. The ET-M572185 solar module is an ISO 9001 certified model with an output power tolerance of +/- 3 per cent. This module generates a maximum power of 185 watts at a maximum voltage and current of 36.30 volts and 5.09 amperes, respectively. The short circuit current and open circuit voltage of the module are 5.80 amperes and 44.60 volts, respectively. The ET-M572185 solar module has a maximum system voltage of 1000 volts DC with varying power, current and voltage temperature coefficients.
